Aquel Negrito
Alias used by Toni Peret to produce a techno remix of the Cola Cao's 1956 advertising theme song, a sign of Spanish popular culture. This was an original idea from his ex-wife's cousin (Jordi Escobar) during the time he was out of Max Music (circa 1992). As Toni recounts in his biographical book "Toni Peret y sus hermanos en el ritmo" (written by David Cuevas), he created the song in 1992, and then in 1993 he presented the idea to Ricardo Campoy and Miguel Degá.
They liked the idea, but obviously, they needed permission from Nutrexpa (the company that manufactures Cola Cao). As soon as they showed it to Nutrexpa, they liked it (as a new mix of the song that could boost Cola Cao's sales while it played in nightclubs and radio stations). Nutrexpa paid 5,000,000 pesetas (the old Spanish currency) to Max Music, and they included the song on the Megatron compilation album.
