Radiorama
The history of Radiorama could be separated into two different eras: the first, between 1985 and 1993, and the second, starting in 1994 and continuing into the 2000's. Founder of this project was Aldo Martinelli, on Mauro Farina's request. With Simona Zanini, he wrote the first single "Chance To Desire", but due to the fact that he was involved with so many other projects, A. Martinelli's name isn't listed on most releases. A. Martinelli eventually withdrew from the group, while M. Farina kept on producing new songs.
Early Radiorama productions were mostly sung by M. Farina and Clara Moroni, except for the first single, where Marco Bresciani and Simona Zanini sung instead. Composition, arrangment and conducting was assured by M. Farina, as well as Giuliano Crivellente, who was also executive producer. The ”background” producers of these records were, for the most part, Paolo Gemma and M. Bresciani. Radiorama productions were initially in the Italo Disco genre, while they shifted more into the Eurobeat territory, starting in 1989.
Radiorama kept on releasing new songs into the 90's. Some of the male sung records released in this era were attributed to Angelo Morales, but it can't be ruled out that he was only a dancer, and that the male vocals still belonged to M. Farina. Starting in 1994 with songs such as "Your Love" and "Let Me Be", the sound of Radiorama was more oriented towards the Euro House/Eurodance/Italodance genre; while they could not replicate the success of their earlier records, they made a string of new records in that genre all the way into the 2000's, with a new team of vocalists, some credited, others not: Cristina Dori sung on "It's A Lonely Wait" (1994). "Let Me Be", "Little Bird" and "Cause The Night", amongst others, are sung by Jackie Bodimead, a singer largely involved with the French group T.H. Express, another project by M. Farina, launched in collaboration with the French record company Ramdam Factory. Records such as ”Give Me The Night”, ”Beautiful Man”, ”Ninna Ninna Oh” and ”More Time” continued on that trend, with M. Farina and F. Serra still on production. Melody Castellari would lend her vocals to "Total Eclypse Of The Heart", a Bonnie Tyler cover.
After seven official albums and countless singles, the group stopped producing new records early in the 2000's.
