49ers is an Italian house and Eurodance act, featuring producers and DJs Gianfranco Bortolotti, Luca Cittadini, Diego Leoni and Pieradis Rossini with vocalist Ann-Marie Smith.
Dawn Mitchell was the first vocalist of 49ers, (replaced by Smith)
They were named "49ers" because Mitchell was the 49th vocalist to audition for the act.
Other vocalist include Cheryl Porter, the opera singer; (2013)
